I'm telling secrets to the one guy you don't tell secrets to.

Almost Famous has to be my absolute favourite film of all time and considering it came out in 2000 it has definitely stood the test of time with me! Firstly the music is absolutely incredible I would recommend any fashion/music lover to watch it

Penny Lane is my absolute favourite character Kate Hudson is brilliant as the infamous groupie (based on Liv Tylers real life mother) but all the female characters are amazing and have fabulous amazing costumes throughout

The fashion and music throughout the film is wonderful and makes me so wish I had been alive in the 70's!!(think I must be a hippy at heart)

Oh and I haven't lost my marbles (just yet anyway) the title of this post is one of the many great quotes from the movie

Have a watch if you haven't seen it already ladies I truly recommend it and would give it 5/5 if I was a film critique though I can't see that happening anytime soon....

Back to blonde....qui or non?!?

Okay so this isn't the most wildly interesting post I'm afraid but I have been having an annoying internal dialogue for a few weeks over whether I should go back to blonde, or keep it ombre??

Since its been ombre the condition has improved massively and it has grown more in the last eight months than it has in years!....But we are nearing the summer though and blondes do have more fun apparently?!? So should I lighten it for the summer or keep it ombre and finally be able to ditch the extensions?!.....well in about a year!

Any thoughts or ideas would be very very much appreciated x

A Marvellous Weekend In Manchester...

So this weekend I went away for the weekend to Manchester, Rather short but lovely nonetheless and much needed, could do some more time to recover as I've unfortunately come home Ill.

We started out at the Trafford centre which I loved! It was really nice inside and the Selfridges was lovely inside and had some amazing things I got a Mac paintpot in Blackground, which is really good I am definitely going to buy some different colours as soon as possible!! I also bought some pretty polly suspender tights to go with my black playsuit and a coral tiered top from H&M

I had my eyebrows threaded in Selfridges too which was unbelievably painful, I honestly think it may have been worst than the tattoo I had this week!!

The majority of the rest of the weekend was a yummy food and drink fest, the Glamour Dunkin Doughnuts were delicious, we had a lovely lunch at YO sushi although it was rather expensive at £20 a head without alcohol...I think the conveyor belt is a very dangerous game for me!!

In the evening we headed to Rosso in the town centre for a delicious italian meal and then had a few cocktails and back to bed....Phew! so lovely if only all my weekends were nearly as exciting!!

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend.

Thank you so much for reading xxx

Foundations

Here is a fresh outfit without the trusty leather jacket; shock horror I know!

The sheer blouse is again Primark which my entire wardrobe seems to consist of at the moment, I think I need a flesh coloured bra looking at these pictures.

The shorts are from Miss Selfridge and were in the sale for around £12.

I love this outfit although it was ever so slighty chilly in March without a vest top underneath

On a side note I am considering going a bit blonder on the ends again for the summer, and the song I cant get out of my head at the moment is the wonderful Anti D by the wombats

Scallops and studs

Sorry there aren't more close ups of this look, I will endeavour to get some more in on my next outfit post but at least they're non Iphone pictures this time so I am getting there....

I really love these pictures such an improvement from the first few on the blog what a difference a good camera makes!

The outfit consists of the old faithful leather jacket, which will not be in the next outfit post I promise! The scalloped playsuit is from New Look I actually thought it was a top when I picked it up, I absolutely love the scallop detail on the shorts.

The tights are Primark super cosy which are amazing and so warm and the butterfly ring is from Accessorize ,the other ring is Primark.

Playsuit: New Look
Tights: Primark
Boots: Tesco
Rings: Accessorize and Primark
Necklace: Vivienne Westwood
Leather jacket: Topshop

I adore Alexa Chung and all her clobber

A FEW OF MY FAVE ALEXA PICTURES

This is more of a tumblr style post again, but I had to include some piccies of the most stylish lady in the UK. (imho)

She has such a cool laidback attitude and style its really easy and affordable to aspire too, just need to now develop a special relationship with Karl Lagerfield, date an Arctic Monkey and lose about half my body weight and I am so there (if I cover my face)......

And here is a fab piece of Alexa's journalism.....So many strings to this amazing ladies bow....

Pictorials

Source pictures 1,2,5,6 Tumblr
Pictures 3+4 my own collection

Here is a selection of pictures I absolutely love at the moment, Not a widely interesting post but pretty to look at.....

Star Style Lauren Conrad

Ok so I want to start doing some star style favourites on my blog and the first person who sprang to mind who's style I admire is Lauren Conrad's! the usual suspects such as Kate Moss, Sienna Miller Alexa Chung and Lily Donaldson will crop up aswell of course.

But I really like Lauren's laid back California style as it always seems really effortless whilst remaining classy.

Obviously there are far grungier cooler celebs styles, but I love the way Lauren Conrad looks like a normal girl next door type and has an easily achievable style on a budget.

Uber jealous of her lovely tan too though I expect I would be a similar colour if I lived in LA! ahh if only.....

Hotpants and pirate boots

Yesterday was pretty cold so the daytime outfit may have been slightly impractical but what the hell!

The first outfit started around the blouse which I absolutely adore it's from New Look and I had my eye on it for ages and eventually bought it when it went into the sale for £10. The tights are from Primark and the hotpants I made from some old jeans. The pirate boots are from Tescos and were £9 in the sale, I will take a close up of them during the week as I am in love with them at the moment and rarely take them off!!

The evening outfit was pretty simple the blouse is from New Look, I paired it with a body-con black skirt and some thick tights, heels and the old faithful leather jacket from Topshop

It was meant to be a quiet drink outfit, but as nothing usually goes to plan on a "quiet" night. It did hold up well until 4am though when I rolled in very drunk and woke the mother up!

Mulberry secret Love keyring

Okay so work wise I have been putting in some crazy hours so I decided to give myself a little treat as a pat on the back! (rationalization I know but any excuse!!)

I got this little lovely this morning from Mulberry, I'm based in Somerset so am just down the road from the Mulberry factory and the Shop, I always pop in but mainly to lust and never buy! Today the purse was opened and I got this lovely keyring!

It was a little pricey but worth it I think I paid £70 but was originally £117 so I was happy to get a little bit more of a bargain!

If anyone gets a chance and is in Somerset try to pop to the Mulberry shop its really lovely in an old school house and is a real treasure trove as they do often have samples as well as the current collection xx
