Insomnia

Okay so as usual I have been crap at blogging, unfortunately I'd love to be more deadicated and always have the time and something interesting to say.

Currently I've have had the worst couple of months personally so am trying to regain some normality then will try to stop procrastinating and making excuses and get back to blogging on a regular basis.

Strangely though I'm really open with my friends and love the blogs and people I have met along the way I find it strange being such an open book as I'm usually really private and find it pretty scary sharing anything especially in such an open space....

Anyway I think I'm rambling now from exhaustion so I'm going to go ;)

Will outfit post this week lovelies I promise xxxx

Fell in LOVE with Barcelona

Okay so as I mentioned in my previous post I've had a really lovely summer and been lots of amazing places.

Barcelona was definitely one of them; as a mini break it was the perfect destination with the mix of cultural/ touristy with some shopping and lounging by the pool thrown in.

We stayed in a really lovely hotel called the hotel America which was just of La Ramblas, we were automatically upgraded when we arrived and greated by an 8 foot bed......basically my idea of heaven.

Over the three days we spent there the sun shone and we visited the famous La Ramblas and tried the ice cream and other delicious treats. I was very tempted to buy a turtle for €10 while there but figured that would be awkward to smuggle to say the least!!!

We also visited the cathedral and the park guell while there which were both breathtaking and beautiful

The shopping was great during the trip with a perfect mix of high street and designer shops to suit anyone's budget. The rest of the time was spent gladly by the pool in the sun which is my favourite holiday pastime!!

All in all it was a beautiful trip and I would recommend anyone to go if they can!! Lastly a few tips if you do go;

1. The drinks on La Ramblas are ridiciously expensive..... Literally €11.80 for one cost avoid eating here and nip down the side streets for equally good food/drinks where you won't be stung on prices! La Fonda is literally one of the best restaurants I've ever been to I would urge anyone to go and it's really well priced :)

2.Try the patatas bravas.....literally Nom

3.don't buy a turtle!

I have had the most amazing summer and have been really lucky to go to 4 festivals, notting hill carnival and Barcelona, it has been amazing from start to end. Now on to the winter which I'm hoping will be equally fun, can't wait for ugg boots snow and hot chocolates!!! now just trying to debate whether to buy this lovely gilet to keep me warm; £145 does seem a little steep..... decisions decisions

Primark Goodies and iPhone piccies

Hey Lovelies

Hope everyone is having a lovely week!! Having a very quiet Friday night so I decided to be a well behaved blogger and do a wee post :)

Had my post pay day primark splurge today; Amazing as always, Having been trying to get myself festival ready for the Isle Of Wight festival which I'm going to with a few friends and absolutely cannot wait I've never been before as I'm a Glastonbury girl at heart but I have very high hopes! I havent bought much as I have a lot of my existing wardrobe in mind to wear, such a hippie at heart/ or I have far too many clothes....can't decide which!

Today I bought the lovely scarf which is in the pics, the leather cuff, 2 beaded bracelets, 2 headbands, a tanning mitt and some eyelashes for the grand total of £16 pounds! I think I'm going to invest in some jwlry rings too as I love them and my last one sadly broke :(

Pictures wise I went slighty mental but I have really blogged any of myself recently and was having far too much fun on my iPhone! :)

This week I can not stop listening too Adele Rolling in the deep and watching the following advert which is my favourite advert ever!! AMAZING!

Lately

Lazy Breakfasts

Lovely West Bay

Okay so have been a wee bit lazy on the blogging front i.e. very so here is a quick run down of the last few weeks, Sorry for the blogging gap my post will not be so sporadic from now on and I really need to get my bum into gear on the outfit posts so that will become more regular also!!

Absolutely loved the Royal wedding, was utterly adorable and the whole bridal party looked lovely especially Kate, I did feel very proud to be English watching it! I think the Sarah Burton/ Mcqueen Dress was stunning and perfect for the world stage/ becoming a princess.

Had a few weeks off over the royal wedding/Easter so I ventured down to West Bay for a few days which was really lovely

Have been out far too much recently also which has really effected my bank balance....not good at all especially as one of the many nights out was a foam party!! Dire!!

Really been suffering from migraines lately also to the point its lasting days....not fun at all

In more uninteresting news I finally bought some St Moriz tanning mouse from fragrance direct as I wanted to try that or Xen tan, but I think Xen tan is too pricey for what it is (imho), St Moriz is a lot more purse friendly so I gave it a go I was really impressed the best tan I've tried in a long while, including fake bake!

All I'm after now is some new hair extensions that's aren't ridiculously pricey at the moment I am leaning towards getting some Hair Rehab ones by Lauren Pope, so if anyone has any please let me know what you think?

Had the horrendous ordeal of having a root canal today which was honestly absolutely awful I have never been in so much pain in my entire life, so am writing this post with an ice pack feeling sorry for myself at present.....the glamorous life I lead

New make up treats

So I treated myself during my holiday to some new make up purchases as I was getting a bit bored with my current foundation so decided to stick with Max Factor previously I used the Max Factor Xperience foundation which I love but found that it wasn't lasting as long as I'd like so I've switched to lasting performace foundation which I find is much more suited to me and provides really good coverage and lasts all day.

I also stocked up on my favourite Stila bronzer which I love having used Bourjois Delice De Poudre Bronzing Powder for years I'm completely converted!

I'm now also in love with Maybellines new lasting drama gel top liner the brush is really good quality and it gives a really great sixties style sweep so I am now using this for a weekend make up look.

Blondie: the result

Hey lovelies!!

So I finally bit the bullet and return to my beloved blonde do, I have to say I'm so pleased with it and it still feels in good condition which is a definite plus as that was one of my main worries

So I will be able to see if blondes do indeed have more fun as I now have a recent direct comparison!

and if worse comes to worse I will return to my ombre roots....literally!

It was a very long process 4 hours in total as the colour didn't initially go the desired tone the first time round so the foils went back in and after another cup of tea and some toner and voilĂ  we got there in the end!

Hope everyone had a fab weekend oh and please Follow my blog with bloglovin if you feel so inclined.... :)

Style crush: Isabel Lucas

My new style crush has to be the beautiful Isabel Lucas of transformers fame, she has amazingly eclectic natural style and seems to channel the 70's into all of her outfits.

I love her laidback look at coachella (last 2 pictures) and now having looked at the photos for quite a while I really want to look like a hippy too! I think if I tried to pull it off it may come off more looking tramp like sadly!

In other news I got my hair dyed blonde again at the weekend so I will upload some piccys soon am just trying to get used to it at the moment as it feels really strange being blonde again!!
